You can order your repeat medication in several ways:
- send or deliver your repeat prescription form to the surgery
- telephone the repeat prescription line on 479105
Your prescription or medication will be available after 2 working days.
If we do not dispense for you, enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope and your prescription will be sent to you. Requests for medication cannot be taken over the normal surgery telephone line.
The practice dispenses its own medication to patients who live more than one mile from a chemist. Please allow 2 working days from ordering to collection. So if you order over a weekend your medication will be ready on a Wednesday.
The health service regulations on this matter are very strict and this service can only be offered to those patients who register as dispensing patients when they join the practice or when they move house.
We are also able to offer safe disposal of any of your unwanted or out of date medication. Please give them to our dispenser.
From 6th April 2020 we are offering a delivery service for the over 60’s . This is so we can protect our staff as we need to reduce the amount of people coming into the surgery.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
