Our Practice Nurses hold surgeries by appointment and you should see them for the following:
The nurse is also available for telephone advice between 14:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
The HCA holds surgeries every morning on Monday to Friday. You should make appointments with her for blood tests, blood pressure checks and ECGs.
The reception staff make appointments for surgeries and clinics, deal with requests for visits, repeat prescriptions, dispensing and general enquiries.
The midwives hold an antenatal clinic at the surgery once a week and are also available for antenatal and postnatal care and advice. They can be contacted at Paulton Maternity unit. Antenatal education and relaxation classes are also held at Paulton Maternity Unit.
Patients who are confined to their homes and need nursing care can arrange with the surgery for a district nurse to visit. The hospital will normally arrange for a district nurse to visit patients discharged from hospital who still need nursing care.
The health visitor can be contacted on 408113. If she is not there a message can be left for her on the answerphone and she will contact you - usually the same day. Her special interests are the care of the under 5s and their mothers.
